THE SEARCH

Online browsing, speed dating, blind dates, the club scene, even at church,etc.,etc,.etc.We all have been there where even at the moment you least expect it,it can happen, finding someone you can potentially spend the rest of your life with.Random acts that happen in the movies is a rarity in reality, but optimism can go hand and hand with being naive. It can be frustrating and can be a burden or can knock you off your original focus. We all search for someone even if you or not really looking so to speak, but the hunt has always been on,knowing the dating scene is fucking crazy. Some of my friends that i have gathered over years have seem to just settle, knowing they could have done better ....or not,but who really knows if the perfect mate is out there.Yes,sometimes i express my frustration on the subject of finding a woman that i like from every angle, its like the mad scientist trying build the perfect person, but hey this shit is hard, because of their emotional problems, trust issues, not communicating and this is me being dismissive, they can be crazy.

I know and i hear my friends and family telling me all the time,"just wait, she is out there","be patient", "stop looking,it will happen"...The thing is i have to put 50% of the blame on myself, cause honestly,i have been looking but not hard enough,i go by it very casually,I'm not really looking, but i am,feel me? Seeing couples all the time is not always cool and i have went through my 20's without a long term relationship,i have had chances, but those chances were not with women i knew i could spend a year with.I am not looking for perfection, that shit is impossible, but dammit, what happen to the attractive, honest, great humor, good understanding can hold a conversation, don't matter if you are struggling, with no kids in her late 20's kind of woman? A friend of mine 11 years ago, told me that what i am looking for is not realistic, and now I'm thinking, was he right?,so far he has been.Thank God I'm not in this alone,I'm not saying this is my portion of this blog called "misery is begging for company",NO,its just that I'm glad some people can relate with me and someone can understand.

Since late 2007,i have been on dates with at least a dozen different women, all have their share of problems, but they are problems i just couldn't help them with, some were just uncrackable.I try to help them with what they were going through and some have even admit they have these problems they cannot shake, whether it was a previous abusive relationship or just the fact of being cheated on.Now i just really pace myself,I'm 29 with really no sign of finding anyone, but i stay optimistic,i don't beat myself up about it like i used to and to some of my friends i might even seem desperate, but that's not the case, even when i was beating myself up,i kept my emotions bottled in 80% of the time.My older sister has a gift of seeing things and her vision once upon a time was bestowed upon me,she seen me with a woman name "Angie" and we would be together with a set of twin babies as she describe "the most beautiful babies you would have ever seen",and this would happen by the time i was 26,but was that a dream instead of a vision, cause i haven't met Angie and don't have any children. So there we have another drop in the bucket or i like to call it,strike 58 your out.

The saga continues....I have alot of love to give, patience and a open mind, lets see what happens.

Natural Disaster...Who's Next?!

Since we first heard or read about Nostradamus prediction on when the world might possibly end,us as human beings have become even more intrigued about the date when this apocalyptic or cataclysmic event might occur. We know someday that will happen, will it happen in our lifetime, maybe not,but i would not be a tad bit surprise if we will see the events like in Haiti and the tsunami a few years ago continue to happen. Now we know God has an indeed plan for his earth and it surrounding planets,we shall prepare and continue to live our lives abundantly. In revelations God's plans the future of this world and if we pay attention we can see in the change in climate and the most unusual state of affairs happen to the most remote locations in the world.

December 21,2012,is a date that is easily sketch into most minds, because of cinematic reasons or because of the knowledge we conjured up from the readings of the ancient Mayans.Which is a date they predict will be the end of the world as we know it.Should we be worried is the question, the answer is NO,depending if you believe it or not.We cannot make ourselves crazy because of this prediction man has believe to be our fate.So for some odd reason if this is our fate,we shall prepared for it everyday like its game 7 of the world series. The more we see in these days and times, like Global Warming, terrorist threats,a change in the arctic region and why the seasons just don't seem to be the same seasonal weather climates of years past.We know these changes are critical and we know that what is happening is just a stepping stone to what may happen. There is a phrase used alot that goes "Ain't nothing change but the weather" being that it is a very true statement,we never knew it would change the infrastructure of what we know as the present.

I live in the now,i live in the moment and say that pretty much of time when it is presented, but the thing is,i have no choice,we all have no choice. So all that panic when Y2k was coming upon us and nothing happen, the first 10 years of this millennium has been a serious and very strange one if you kept your eye on whats going on.If it snows in Los Angeles or a hurricane hits New York City, then we better buckle up for thee inevitable, cause right around the corner is a scene Spielberg himself couldn't think of.Please stay aware of your surroundings, tell your folks you love them and continue to pray and get right with God until your fate or our fate is hatched.Death could be coming soon, but don't let me scare you,I'm just a person speaking words into existence. So to anyone that reads this, just pay attention for now on and witness these small but dangerous disasters that come when we least expect them.It might hit where you stay it may hit and affect your distant relatives you visit every once in a while.

Be careful, and i know that's easier said than done, but if that day of 12/21/2012 is actually true,i just hope me and my family and the ones i consider friends can survive it....BE SAFE AND PRAY!

Steroids..I DONT CARE!!

Steroids....this controversial subject has brung many ESPN and other recognize analyst to the brink of explosion, because everyone thinks it is so bad and so wrong to every sport it is showcased in.The fact of the matter is,its not the sport that is being hurt,it is the athlete that injecting or orally taking them.So let me get to my point on why i dont care if take them, the simple reason is this:"IF YOU DONT HAVE TALENT TO BACK UP THE STREOIDS THERE IS NO REASON TO WASTE YOUR BREATH.I have seen for the last 10 years seen different people express such frustration, thinking steroids has giving basball a bad name, just because you think he took or why is he so big from 10-15 years previous is such a big deal,we all know the body at a twilight age is not the same one on draft night,so you will have to work harder, thats just common sense. In case in point Mr. Barry Lamar Bonds, the all time homerun champ(yes the all time champ)i love Hank Aaron,i love this brother story his background and as a fellow black man,im proud that he has this prestigious award of being that man until bonds broke the record.Barry has done this on sheer talent alone, yes talent alone.Lets just say he did take them his whole entire career and ended up with 250 homeruns,no one will be bitching or saying a word.Does anybody remember the great but unheard of even remembered Raphel Belliard, the latin ball player who played for the Braves in the late and early 90's,lets just say he was on steroids, but if you know your baseball history, his career homerun totals is about maybe and i mean maybe 5-10 homeruns. So i say that to say this,if you dont have the talent, then you taking the steroids means nothing, you got to have the talent to back up these steroids.

The alleged blackeye that baseball has is a freaking lie,it never will have it.For generations we have watched and marveled at the talents that come to our respective fields, and for many more years to come it will do the same.People of all ages will come early to see batting practice, get pictures, bats, baseballs and other fine collectibles signed by these athletes that has been sworn under oath or railroaded on certain sport t.v. and radio programs across the country. You can say all day or speak 'til you face turns purple that this person cheated. From A-Rod to Bonds,or even you suspected franchise pitcher all have the spotlight on them because of this drug.Anybody that is anybody should know baseball is a very difficult sport to play,it may look easy,it may look boring to a person that is on the outside looking in,but i have played, and believe me it is not easy.It is a God given talent that has to be bestowed upon you,Steroids does not guarantee to make you hit homeruns, grab extra bases, throw a better fastball or curveball,it can guarantee extra strength thats if you work out,no person that i know ever has taken the drug, went to sleep looking like J.J. Walker and woke up looking like Dwight Howard,u still have to put in the work.

Mark McGwire has come forth as the new combatent to confess to using the drugs. He has been elgible for the Hall of Fame for the last 4 years and has recieved to my knowledge as high as 22% of the vote, needing 75% of the vote from writers to be elgible to be enshrined in baseballs most elite class of company. We all know Mark is know as a good guy and a guy who dodge questioning or answering anything about his alledged use of steroids,So since he has come forth, dont be surprised if his percentage suddenly sky rocket from 22% to 60% or in a couple of years he will make the Hall of Fame. Now lets put the shoe on the other foot,if Bonds does this and will be eligible in a couple of years he will get crushed and this my opinion,he will not get the same amount of love because he has been a thorn in the medias side because of the way he treats you the media. He has way better numbers, but like i have said, earlier in this piece, you MUST have the talent to be able to hit such a large amout of homeruns whether its Mark's(588) or Bonds (765) without this talent you will do these steroids no good, thats if you take them for that reason,to have better numbers.

I can understand the amount of pressure one has to perform on such a high level of play, but to the ones that still think steroids is cheating, then you are sadly mistaken.Just think about it for a second and you will have no choice but to agree. You can be a big as DC comics heros, but it doesnt mean anything if you dont put in the work or have the talent to hit,run or play better,overall...So to all the people out there that has been wasting their breath for the last 10 to 15 years thinking it has given the game of baseball a black eye or has ruin the game as we know it.Your only as good as the talent God has given you.

Kobe vs Lebron

Kobe vs. Lebron has been an ongoing saga of opinions since Lebron emerge on the grand scene we call the highest court in the land.the NBA,but lets not forget that this kid is not on the same level,i mean dont get me wrong he is a remarkable talent but to say his is on Kobe's level, then lets not kid ourselves. If you are a person that doesnt live in los angeles or just move away from it because of state taxes or because of the cost of living, then it should not curve your opinion of this MEGA talent that is Mr.Kobe Bean Bryant.

Lebron bust out of high school in 2003,after stealing a few hearts with his national telvised games on ESPN to show us his very versatile skills, while kobe was still killing people on the NBA level, while Mj was making yet another comeback on his less bit of 38 year old kneees in a wizards uniform i might add,the torch so to speak was being handed down even though handed down in the 1999-2000 season, the 1999 season has a asterisk*(sorry san antonio).Dont get me wrong i wasnt the biggest kobe bryant fan after killing us that forgettable performance in the 1997 playoffs against the Utah Jazz, with two airballs, but he soon changed my mind sooner than later,as probaly the greatest ball player i have ever witness and yes that nike campaign they use for lebron was great, but we have all been witnesses to Kobe heroics since he stole out imagination in the 2001 playoffs,by disecting san antonio veteran defense coached by general patton aka greg popovich to the emergence of the great #8.With no flaw in his game, there is no mistake he is the man and will be until he retires sometime in his late 30's,now at 31 we often forget he also came out of high school, but nevertheless that doesnt chage the killer instinct in him,the way he can take over a game in the 4th quarter and being able to do the sort of feat is legendary and us as laker fans are spoiled by his consistant play of dazzling us on a nightly basis.Yes the glam of hollywood, palm trees, beautiful beaches and tmz constant barage of celebrity coverage elludes us all,but we as die hard laker fans understand what we are seeing as he paint this canvas.picasso, diego, monet, rembrandt and vangogh could never drop 81 on a night when the nfl playoffs might be the top story, who amogst us can drop 81 in a playstation game with 20 min quarters, none of us.

Lebron is a freak and i mean that with all do respect, his performance against detroit was the stuff dreams are made of,i mean Kobe pulls off knick killer reggie miller type performances almost on a nightly basis if he wanted to and makes it look easy and i think thats the difference for us all,how you can drop 61 points in the worlds most famous arena in 36 minutes is beyond me.But Lebron's performance deserves almost the same exact praise,he was one rebound shy of a triple double.I know i sound to most of you out there that is reading this BIG BIAS kobe fan,yes i can admit that, but the truth in is the pudding, i can only based this on their play alone.I remember Lebron leading the league in scoring early in the season a few years ago and he said "kobe will leading the league in scoring before this season is done",i dont think he did but the respect alone fron the akron kid was something i give him credit for,he knows what he dealing with, the BLACK MAMBA.So,let the deabate continue and we keep being amazed by these extemely talented athletes we have come acustom to we as mere civilians should be gracious for ther presence to entertain us as the playoffs every year approaches.
